June20 is closed during the Christmas Holidays. That means five full working days with no one around to pick up the phone. Meanwhile a lot of elderly people are eagerly hoping to receive a phone call. So we put one and one together, to create a solution that helped us both: Ring-a-Granny.

5 grannies from retirement home Vincenthof agreed to become our temporary phone operators, wishing our clients and suppliers all the best. An email to our contacts—with a trailer movie—invited them to make a call and watch the livestream.
Our Christmas Out of Office message became a hot topic in national media.
The campaign gained a total reach of 12.900.000 contacts, what added up to €590.000 in earned media. Traffic to our website increased by 520%, 99% of which were new visitors.
