A good breakfast gives you energy to start the day off right. They’ve known that at Vondelmolen for more than 150 years. The spicy gingerbread they make is not only tasty, but also packed with energy.
Our assignment was simple: develop an activation campaign that would boost sales of Vondelmolen gingerbread and strengthen its position in retail. And so the ‘Opgewektste Ochtend’ (Most Upbeat Morning) glimmered: a competition that can make you experience the most virtuous morning.
On each pack of Vondelmolen gingerbread you found an action sticker with a unique competition code. All participants had to do, was enter this code on the landing page. The grand prize: an unforgettable and invigorating overnight stay in a tree house in the middle of nature, including a tasty and energy-rich Vondelmolen breakfast and a relaxing Shiatsu massage. There were also 20 Vondelmolen breakfast packs to be won, full of products of the Vondelmolen range.
To attract as many people as possible to the landing page, we engaged four different channels using the same catchy campaign image: social media ads (Facebook and Instagram), ad banners on the Google display network, some 500 2m2 posters near Carrefour and Delhaize, and POS material (wobblers, posters and displays) to give customers a final push into the shop itself.
So far, a total of some 2,500 unique codes have already been entered on the landing page.
