SD Worx / Bleckmann is ready to peak

March 2022

March Madness probably doesn’t mean anything to you. But Black Friday and Summer Sales undoubtedly ring a bell. In the supply chain world, those are three major peak moments. Our brand-new client SD Worx immediately asked us to put together a tactical campaign for their key account Bleckmann.

Bleckmann has grown from textile distributor to logistics partner of international fashion and lifestyle brands. This includes assembling, packing, shipping and returning packages. At peak times, the company needs up to 1,200 extra order pickers for about 10 to 14 days.

We came up with a concept that is multi-deployable at different peak moments. With the “Reach new peaks” campaign line, we play on both the skills and the job satisfaction of the young and urban target group. Because conversations with employees showed that the atmosphere on the shop floor is very good at Bleckmann – “sometimes it even feels like a festival with a lot of cultural diversity”.

We took four portraits of employees on the shop floor. Young, energetic individuals who clearly enjoy their work. To give the campaign the necessary urban vibe, we worked with street and nightlife photographer Daniil Lavrovski. Via bus shelters, window stickers on buses and a sophisticated social media campaign – on Facebook, Instagram and the Google Display Network – we led potential candidates to the website sdworx.jobs/bleckmann.

The result? The campaign did what it was supposed to do. In the run-up to Black Friday, for example, all 1,200 vacancies were filled after just 1 week of campaigning! Bleckmann is clearly ready to peak.
