About us
June20 is a creative communications agency. What we do? Engineering emotions: we build strong emotional connections through strategy, branding, communication, platforms and media. With knowledge and experience at the root, we move brands and companies forward by moving people.
About the position
At June20, you won’t find a traditional IT job. You are the face of our agency for clients with technical questions about their website or digital platform. One day you’ll resolve a hosting issue, and the next you’ll brainstorm about an SEO challenge or help update content on a website. Other times, you will forward a request to the right colleague. Customer-friendly, service-oriented, and solution-driven: that is how you help people move forward every day.
- First point of contact: You handle inquiries via phone, email, and our ticketing system. You resolve what you can yourself and escalate larger issues.
- Technical webmaster tasks: You manage websites on CMS platforms such as WordPress (Elementor, Divi), Sitecore, Optimizely, Magento, and Shopify. You monitor hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and performance.
- Security and compliance: You oversee backups, malware scans, and firewall settings. You manage cookie banners, GDPR compliance, and web accessibility (WCAG).
- Client advisory: You translate technical jargon into clear, understandable language for clients and think along with them about their challenges.
- Story and brand: You think critically about the story the website or tools convey. Is the message right? Does it fit the client’s brand? You are the one to flag this.
- SEO and GEO: You advise clients on technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), ensuring they remain visible in both search engines and AI tools.
- Administration and invoicing: You accurately follow up on files and prepare the invoicing for projects and support.
- Small-scale estimations: For minor tasks, you make the estimation yourself and request approval from the client. Does a request grow into a larger project? Then you involve one of our project managers.
- Customer-friendliness and a service-oriented mindset are second nature to you.
- You intuitively feel when a client needs more than just a quick fix.
- You have a strong knack for administration, meaning accurate follow-up and preparing invoices come naturally to you.
- Technical background: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, experience with CMS systems (including WordPress), knowledge of hosting, DNS, SSL, and performance, and an affinity for security.
- Good knowledge of technical SEO and a strong interest in GEO.
- You enjoy client contact by phone and excel at explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical people.
- You have an eye for branding and messaging. You are not afraid to speak up when a website fails to tell that story.
- You are open to embracing AI and other tools that make your work more efficient.
Your ideal profile:
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- You work accurately and in a structured manner, think proactively, and take ownership of your work.
- You know exactly when to tackle something yourself and when to hand it over.
- Location: Residing in or willing to work from Antwerp.
What you can expect:
- A varied role where no two days are the same.
- Collaborating with a close team of experts from all communication and media disciplines.
- Decent pay & loads of independence.
- A close and collaborative team environment that mixes business with pleasure.
- Plenty of opportunities to grow.
