Taking Hautes-Alpes tourism to the next level

For our most exotic client, the tourist board of the French region of Hautes-Alpes, we
launched an appealing summer campaign showcasing the assets of this stunning region.

In 2023, we pulled a stunt when we developed a new cycling route in Strava for our client Hautes-Alpes. Now, we have launched a summer campaign showing that in Hautes-Alpes, things are always a little bit better.

The French region of Hautes-Alpes is the perfect holiday destination for those who love nature, sports, outdoor activities and gastronomy. To make people in Belgium and France aware of this, we ran an integrated campaign on YouTube, Meta and via SEA. We also used native ads to direct people to relevant blog articles with tips that match the visitor’s profile. People who click through to the campaign website also receive tips for great campsites and
hotels they can book directly.

Each contact moment in the campaign responds to the interests of a specific audience. All traffic lands on the campaign website plus.hautes-alpes.net which highlights Hautes-Alpes assets. Blog posts tip relevant events that make visitors want to discover Hautes-Alpes even more.

Hautes-Alpes is known for its raw natural beauty. Not so surprising, when you know it is the highest department in France, with peaks up to 4,000 metres. Thanks to the absence of industry, you”ll find the purest air in France here. And with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, it is also one of the sunniest regions. The campaign focuses on these superlatives, which literally take every experience to the next level. Because in Hautes-Alpes, everything is just that little bit higher, bigger and more beautiful. This is perfectly captured by the motion videos – pivotal to the campaign: the more the camera zooms out, the more the impressive surroundings are revealed.

Our carefully targeted and integrated campaign kicked off the holiday season, which got off to a slow start this year due to persistent rain.
